BlueWave Returns & Refunds

Clear support for every return request.

Water recreation equipment deserves careful handling before, during and after delivery. If an item is damaged, incorrect or not suitable for your intended activity, contact BlueWave so our team can review the order details and explain the available next steps.

Keep the item and packaging available

Please do not discard packaging, accessories, manuals or damaged components until our support team has reviewed your request.

Policy overview

A practical review based on the item, its condition and the reason for return.

Return eligibility can vary by product type and order circumstances. Our team reviews each request using the order record, product condition, supporting details and applicable consumer rights.

Item condition

Clean, complete and carefully packed

Unless an item arrived damaged or incorrect, return requests are best supported when the product remains unused, clean, dry and complete with its original accessories, hardware, manuals and packaging.

Order details

Provide information that helps us review quickly

Include your order number, the item name, the reason for the request and clear photographs when damage, missing parts, packaging concerns or an incorrect product are involved.

Approval first

Wait for return instructions

Please contact BlueWave before shipping an item back. Packages sent without confirmed instructions may be delayed, misdirected or difficult to match with the correct order.

Return transit

Use suitable packaging and tracking

Approved returns should be packed to prevent movement, moisture exposure, abrasion or loss of small components. Retain the shipping receipt and tracking details until the request is completed.

How to begin

Four clear steps from first message to final review.

Starting with complete information helps our team understand the issue and prevents unnecessary shipping or delays.

01

Contact BlueWave

Use the contact page or email info@bluewave.mom with your order number and the item you would like us to review.

02

Describe the request

Explain whether the item is damaged, incorrect, incomplete, unsuitable or being returned for another reason. Include photographs when they help show the condition.

03

Receive instructions

Our team will review the information and explain the available resolution, packaging requirements and return destination when a physical return is required.

04

Complete the approved return

Send the item only after approval, follow the provided instructions and keep the tracking information until inspection and any approved refund or other resolution is complete.

Help protect the item’s condition before it is reviewed.

Water-use products can change condition quickly after inflation, installation or exposure to water, sand, salt, sunscreen and outdoor surfaces. Keep the following points in mind when preparing a request.

Keep all included components together

Retain fins, valves, pumps, hoses, paddles, straps, connectors, repair materials, manuals, storage bags and mounting hardware supplied with the product.

Keep unused equipment clean and dry

Avoid water exposure, sand, salt, dirt, sunscreen, adhesives, permanent markings or modifications when you are considering a preference-based return.

Do not attempt repairs before review

For items that arrived damaged or appear defective, contact us before applying patches, glue, sealant, replacement parts or other repairs.

Items already used in water may require a different review.

Products that have been used, altered, damaged after delivery, returned wet or sent back without important components may not qualify for a preference-based return. This does not limit rights that may apply to damaged, incorrect or defective goods.

Common request types

The next step depends on what happened with the order.

The information below explains how different situations are generally reviewed. Final eligibility and resolution depend on the order details, product condition and applicable law.

Damaged, incomplete or incorrect delivery

Contact us promptly with photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label and affected area. Keep all materials available while we review replacement, return or refund options.

Preference or suitability concern

Contact us before using the product. Unused items that remain clean, dry, complete and properly packaged are easier to assess for a preference-based return.

Possible product issue after opening

Stop using the item if continued use could increase damage or create an unsafe situation. Describe what occurred, when it occurred and any setup, inflation or installation steps completed before the issue appeared.

Water-use product considerations

Some items need extra care before they can be returned.

Inflatable equipment, snorkeling gear, swim accessories, repair materials, waterproof protection and products worn close to the body may require a more detailed condition review.

Opened adhesives, sealants, repair compounds and other condition-sensitive materials may not be suitable for preference-based return.
Masks, snorkels, mouthpieces, swim equipment and protective products that have been used may be restricted for hygiene or condition reasons.
Inflatable products should be returned only as instructed, fully dry and packed without sharp objects, loose valves or unsecured accessories.
Products modified, permanently marked, cut, glued, patched or installed in a way that changes their original condition may not qualify for a preference-based return.

Refund review

What happens after an approved return arrives.

Returned items are matched with the order and reviewed for condition, completeness and compliance with the instructions provided by our support team.

Original payment method

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional processing time before the credit appears.

01
Package receipt and order matching

The returned package is matched with the order information and the return instructions previously provided.

02
Condition and component review

The item, packaging and included accessories are reviewed. Missing, altered, used or transit-damaged components may affect the outcome where permitted by applicable law.

03
Email confirmation

BlueWave will communicate the review outcome and any approved refund, replacement or other resolution using the contact details associated with the order.

04
Payment-provider processing

After an approved refund is submitted, the time required for it to appear depends on the original payment provider. This processing period is outside BlueWave’s direct control.

Returns & refunds questions

Helpful answers before you contact us.

These answers provide a practical overview. The instructions supplied by BlueWave for your specific order take priority over general packaging or shipping guidance on this page.

Should I send the product back before contacting BlueWave?
No. Please contact BlueWave first and wait for confirmed instructions. Return routing, packaging needs and the required information can differ by product and reason for return. Unapproved packages may be delayed or sent to an incorrect location.
What information should I include with a damaged-item request?
Include your order number, the item name, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product, affected area, packaging and shipping label. Keep all included components and packing materials available until the review is complete.
Can an item be returned after it has been used in water?
Used items may not qualify for a preference-based return because exposure to water, salt, sand, sunscreen, inflation, installation or body contact can change their condition. Contact us if the item appears damaged, incorrect or defective so the circumstances can be reviewed.
Who is responsible for return shipping?
Return-shipping responsibility depends on the reason for the request, the review outcome and applicable law. Where permitted, preference-based returns may require the customer to cover return shipping. BlueWave will explain the applicable arrangement before an approved return is sent.
Are original shipping charges refundable?
The treatment of original shipping charges depends on the reason for the return, the order circumstances and applicable consumer rights. Any approved amount will be explained in the confirmation provided after the request is reviewed.
What should I do if a package appears damaged at delivery?
Photograph the outer package, shipping label, internal packaging and item before discarding anything. Contact BlueWave promptly with the order number and images so the delivery condition can be documented and reviewed.
Does this policy affect my legal consumer rights?
No. This page is intended as a practical summary of the BlueWave return process and does not exclude or reduce rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
